About Us
Getting to know Jennifer
Originally from upstate New York and Ohio, I came south by way of Boston and Washington DC, and have lived in Wilmington for 27 years. Prior to my 25 years in real estate I worked as an account executive in a top-three Boston advertising agency and in a boutique college marketing firm in DC. I have two children in college at UNC Chapel Hill and Boston University and have thus experienced the New Hanover County school system first-hand. I enjoy a very active lifestyle and love to cook.
I was lucky to find the perfect assistant after deciding about how best to grow my business. I choose not to grow into a large team as I saw how that can dilute the relationships I have so enjoyed building with my clients. Kate is an integral part of the business and handles everything from administration, marketing and client interaction. Our door is always open, our cell phones always on.
My objective is to be the best agent for each client so that they will refer me to their family and friends. I am one of only a handful of realtors in this market who practices exclusive agency. I believe that buyers and sellers can only get the best deal when they are being fully represented.
My experience and success in real estate is well documented through regularly ranking in the top 5% of local agents and top 12% of Remax agents nationally. I have a wide range of experience from historic downtown to Wrightsville and Carolina beaches, multi-family properties and everything in-between. Buying and selling real estate can be emotionally draining. It is my responsibility to make the experience positive and rewarding
Getting to know Kate
I am originally from NY where much of my family still lives. My professional career began in finance as a licensed broker. After leaving the firm to raise a family, I spent 12 years working with a non-profit organization focused on education. Real estate had been a long time interest so I earned my license in both New York and North Carolina. With kids gone and after looking for a milder climate and a beach lifestyle, I made a southern migration to Wilmington and am happy to call this wonderful town home! What matters most in my life is faith, family and community; I love to spend time with my children and grandchildren. I also enjoy the outdoors, cooking, gardening and volunteering with several local organizations.
I’m so sad our journey together has come to an end! Thank you so much for everything you have done – words can’t explain how grateful Clint and I are to have found such a wonderful person to guide us through this first and major endeavor of our life together. You are truly incredible at what you do and we’ve learned so much through this process!
We have enjoyed every minute of crazy, fun, scary, filthy house hunting with you!
Thank you!
